UPDATE: Moscow Exchange resumes foreign currency, metals trade

(Adds details throughout)

MOSCOW, Nov 11 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Exchange resumed the trading sessions on the foreign currency and precious metals markets after a suspension on Friday, it said.

“The reason for the trade halt was a failure of the core server of the foreign currency market trade system. Reconnection to a reserve server was made promptly. The trade system was unavailable for 13 minutes,” a spokesman for the Moscow Exchange told PRIME.

The Moscow Exchange suspended the trading sessions on the foreign currency and precious metals markets at 12:42 p.m. Moscow time.
